Mama Suz’s Kiddie Karfax

I am OBSESSED with Little Tikes customizations. I’m sure this is in part fueled by the fact that I always wanted a Cozy Coupe and also because I love being crafty. Anytime I see something cool, I always try to construct it myself even better! Someday I hope Ace inherits this curiosity and desire to work with his hands.

Ace has a cousin a little older than he is who adores him. His “big” cousin always wants him to play with her and while he’s not quite big enough yet, he will be soon. So my quest began by trying to make a customized cozy coupe for her with the hopes she and Ace could play together on it someday. Well… it was harder than I thought to find one and her birthday was coming up so I caved and bought one new, straight out of the box, no customization.

I continued to scour Facebook marketplace and when I saw a post of 2 sun faded cars for $10 I jumped at the chance, Venmo-Ed the money and drove an hour to get them 🙄. The next day I saw a cool van and a convertible which was waaaay better than my previous purchase so I bought those too – since of course we needed more- and when I got there the lady asked me to take her other original cozy coupe too which I of course obliged.

Now I have FIVE cozy coupes for 2 kids, one who cannot sit up yet and one who lives 3hours away and has a brand new one that I bought for her birthday. This is definitely not a deterrent, I’m determined and excited about my project. Also, I have finals next week but that’s far less interesting or fun.
