Tips for getting through the airport alone with baby

  1. Practice taking everything apart and putting it on your kitchen table like you would going through TSA. The wagon just takes me longer than the stroller. The car seat will need to go in so that the open part where your kid sits faces down on the conveyor belt. The stroller goes wheels up
  2. you may want to get a bag to protect the car seat and it makes it easier to carry. Plus when I’m getting onto the plane I throw all my other bags inside the big car seat bag, frees up my hands to get the kiddo who wants to climb in every seat
  3. Can you baby wear? It really helps getting on/off the plane. My LO. Rides in the stroller till we are just about to board then I put the stroller in the bag and wear him onto the plane
  4. Get a bag for your stroller. It will make it so much easier to gate check. They’re inexpensive on Amazon and even cheaper on FB marketplace. You don’t want your stroller lost or broken, I’ve seen that soooo many times.
  5. Seriously practice carrying everything down the walkway onto the plane. It’s harder than it sounds, usually they make you break down the stroller before you walk down and then carry it to the gate check area. I literally cried last time because I was hot and tired, my kid was hot and tired, and even though I’ve done it a bunch it was just really hard.

Have a great trip!!
